Position Summary
This position will be responsible for the daily processes and activities as it relates to PMO. This position shall focus on day-to-day project activities. Additionally, the monitoring and reviewing field/service tickets and assuring all factors and associated activities are accounted for so GDS can bill correctly and fully for all services due from customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing projects under the guidance of the lead project manager.
- Help monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure projects remain on track.
- Conduct research, data analysis, and prepare reports on project progress and performance metrics.
- Support the development and maintenance of the project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk logs.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, take meeting notes, and track action items.
- Assist in identifying project issues and risks, escalating to project managers.
- Assist in billing/invoicing of services.
- Assist with ticket request and management.
- Will leverage some or all of GDS platforms.
- Stakeholder reporting
- Other duties as assigned by Manager
Minimum Qualification (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, required
- Analytical/problem solving skills and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and motivation
- Good follow through and follow-up skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret data
- Experience with the billing process, preferred
- Experience in telecom environment, preferred
- Ability to effectively present information to team members
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to maintain consistent and reliable attendance
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
